Dear Education Youth Development Outreach family and friends,

I hope everyone is doing well and are following our national, state, and citywide “Stay-At-Home” 🏠guidelines. As we honor & mourn the loss of those who have passed due to the pandemic, we also pray for healing for those who are affected.

It is very important to us that as an organization we continue to share resources, and motivation to ensure our continued sense of community.  For the next two weeks we will share more about family online courses on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, Educational webinars, and creative online activities.  We will introduce 📣a “LIVE” and virtual College Tour for our students and family with special guest.  We will also share exciting news of our partnerships, and most importantly our students who have been accepted into colleges & trade-school this fall, those who are starting new business opportunities and entrepreneurship, and those who will honorably joined our armed services. We salute their efforts and accomplishments!🎓🧳🏛🇺🇸

Like you, we cannot wait to see each other again as we await our “New Abnormal”. One of our first activities we will have after this is a gathering of Education Youth Development Outreach families and friends inviting all nonprofits, youth agencies, clubs, fraternal orgs, and more. It is our desire; hopefully convening Summer 2020.

We also welcome any information, resources, alerts that you come across that would be beneficial to the Edu/Youth families during this time. 💪🏾

There is so much that continues to go on... misinformation, lack of leadership, integrity & empathy, with added financial strain. Yet, Fear is at the forefront that is leading our nation right now. However, WE WILL ALL get through this together stronger than before. Let’s join together and lift each other up despite what’s going on. Let’s continue to be aware, yet knowledgeable of our actions and responsible with our communication with our social platforms. We owe it to our youth. Let’s pass down a legacy of Educational Excellence, Generational Wealth, and Proud Actions!

Starting today we will post on ALL of our social media platforms regularly. Please join in, tag, and share.

Yours truly,

Alvin D. Owens & Midwest Teams
